Record duplication no longer is the issue it once was for CRM systems. Only about 10 percent of all records now are duplicates, according to Dun & Bradstreet’s 2016 Marketing Benchmark Report. This does not mean that CRM data cleaning is any less important, however. While we can thank automation for spotting many of the duplicate entries that once plagued CRM systems, quality of data has moved in the opposite direction recently.
