Responsibilities include:

  • Manage channel marketing and customer marketing
  • Develop the annual budget for these 2 channels along with a marketing strategy in line with company objectives
  • Oversee all communications with Social123 customers across all channels
  • Develop an intimate understanding of each customer, their use case, and the primary contacts at each account
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns for channel and customer marketing channels
  • Create and deliver messaging in line with running campaigns and product launches
  • Will work very closely with the customer success and channel teams
  • Collaborate with these teams to create a better customer experience and buyer journey
  • Optimize the channel and customer funnels
  • Build and manage relationships with customers
  • Identify customer advocates and develop new customer advocates
  • Measure results of channel and customer marketing campaigns
  • Build and manage relationships with thought leaders – leverage relationships for co-marketing initiatives
  • Leverage the Demand Gen Manager and Content Manager to get the job done
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities and other corporate initiatives
  • Oversee the overall marketing budget over time to ensure the department is on track
  • Some content creation – blogs, briefs, ad copy, etc.
  • Conceptualize designs for ads, whitepapers, decks, slicks, etc.
  • Assist with brand management and corporate identity
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Manage marketing campaign strategy and content development and delivery across all digital channels
  • Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing
  • May need to attend industry events and conferences that we sponsor
  • May need to setup and work the Social123 booth at sponsored conferences
  • Work with all existing vendors when necessary and help identify new vendors
  • Oversee all ad campaigns and report back on success
  • Oversee ad technologies and platforms (Terminus, Google Ads, etc)

Candidates must additionally possess:

  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Autonomous work ethic and has the ability to own processes from start to beginning without close management
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Professional judgment and discretion
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges along with campaign analytics
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Strong social media presence and personal brand
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with marketing automation – preferably market or pardot
  • Solid knowledge of CMS systems and website analytics tools (Google Analytics, WordPress, etc)
  • 1-3 years of management experience
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per year
